Since the Indian-administered elections were first announced in Kashmir during the first phase of the polls until now, violent protestors have not quieted down.
On Monday, at least a dozen people died from the battle between the Militants and Indian soldiers. To date, more than 470 people, including a state minister and about 30 political workers, have been killed.
This phase takes place in the districts of Budgam, Jammu, and Srinagar. In includes 28 constituencies with 263 candidates, with more than 2 million eligible to vote.
