New Zealand beats India by 6 wickets to lift Videocon Cup

New Delhi: New Zealand on Tuesday rode to a stunning victory at the finals of the Videocon Cup cricket tri-series at Harare, beating India by six wickets. Chasing a formidable target of 277, the Kiwis made 278 runs for the loss of four wickets with two overs to spare. Kiwi star batsman, Nathan Astle, scored an unbeaten 115 to steer his team to victory as well as lift the Man of the Match award. Earlier, the Indians won the toss and decided to bat first, and began with a good start before the first wicket fell at 155. Virender Sehwag and skipper Sourav Ganguly put on 72 runs for the opening wicket, scoring at more than six-runs an over.
