Spicy Thai curry can scuttle cancer spread

London: According to researchers eating spicy Thai curry could inhibit the growth of cancer cells, reports the Sun. Tests revealed that a ginger-like root used to flavour the dishes appears to kill cancer cells. Now a team from King's College, London, believes the root can not only attack cancer cells but also protect healthy ones from cancer-causing substances.
