Quoting surveys carried out by the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations (CCFR), the Daily Times also saidthat 75 percent of America's leaders and 51 percent of the public favoured the sending of a t UN-sponsored force to maintain peace between India and Pakistan. According to the paper, over 50 percent of the American public believes that Washington should extend all possible help to Pakistan to end fundamentalism and Islamic radicalism in that country. |
