India creates history, defeats Australia

Adelaide: India created history as Rahul Dravid hit the winning runs with India claiming their first Test win in Australia for 22 years on Tuesday. India started the day on 37-0, chasing 230, and, despite looking nervous as they lost six wickets, finally edged home. After scoring 233 in the first innings, Dravid was again the hero as he battled to 72 not out with skipper Ganguly, Tendulkar and the openers back in the pavilion. Chasing 230 to win, India romped home shortly after the tea break.
