IMF approves 72 million dollar loan for Nepal

Kathmandu:The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has in principle approved a three-year 72 million dollar poverty reduction and growth facility loan for Nepal to support that country's economic reform program till July 2006. A final decision on the financial package will be made after a World Bank Executive Board review meeting on Nepal's poverty reduction strategy paper (PRSP), scheduled for November 18.
