Joshi confers with Vajpayee

New Delhi: Murli Manohar Joshi, who resigned on September 22 as Human Resource Development Minister after a Rae Bareli court ordered charges to be framed against him over the demolition of a 16th century mosque, met Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on Monday. After their meeting Joshi said he was waiting for Vajpayee's response. "I held discussions on the whole thing including whatever decision the Rae Bareli court has taken. I am waiting for his (Vajpayee's) response. Whatever he says will be known later," Joshi said. Meanwhile, Joshi filed a petition in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court on Monday challenging the special court order against him. Joshi's petition is likely to be heard by the court on Tuesday.
