[Beijing, July 29, 2003] The biggest heat wave is now rising in China, bringing the temperature above 35oC in most regions.

Central China is reportedly experiencing a temperature of between 35-38oC, while the eastern coastline’s temperature has reached between 39-41oC.

A surprising characteristic about this new heat wave is that the temperature difference between daytime and nighttime is only 2 to 3 degrees Celcius with high humidity.
