[China, July 8, 2003] China’s official press reports that over 1 million people are in the midst of a flood and at least 13 persons has died. The flood has spread from Huai River to Jiangsu and Henan provinces. The rainfall is the heaviest in the last 72 years, according to a local official. The photos shows that the city of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, is now flooded with water.
