[Hongkong, July 1, 2003] In the midst of protesting in a march by some 400,000 Hongkong residents against the new security bill imposed by Beijing, many were young people including this school girl.

This massive public rally has drawn participation from local households who worry about limitation of their freedoms under this new bill. The media, Chrisitans, the Falun Gong spiritual movement, teachers, and the legal profession in particular are concerned about deprivation of their basic rights.
