[Hong Kong, June 4, 2003]On the eve of the 14th anniversary of the massacre on Tiananmen Square in Beijing, tens of thousands of Hong Kong residents showed up at Victoria Park to hold a candle light vigil to remember the victims butchered by soldiers.

Many feel strong sentiments against recent actions taken by Beijing authorities, having recently been hit hard by the SARS epidemic and facing Article 23 (anti-subversive law) imposed upon the Hong Kong Administration by Beijing authorities.
