Home > East Asia > Roh pushes for freer, safer trade AFAR 4/24/2003 South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun commented that in order to boost international trade, the country should change its stance to promote the opening of markets. His position is to actively engage in free trade agreements, in particular with Japan and Singapore. President Roh mentioned the need to support sectors that might become vulnerable by freer markets but details have yet to be made known. |
