Home > East Asia > Criticism for new media policies AFAR 3/25/2003 When asked to explain why it had refused to confirm facts to a media reporter about a collection of literature, The Korean Culture and Arts Foundation (KCAF), a subset of the MCT, said that it must provide data to all media outlets simultaneously to ensure impartiality. Some concerned insiders believe that if the KCAF continues to enforce this new plan, the South Korean media will become standardized, losing its element to criticize the administration, and leading to counter methods to retrieve important information that only isolate the people more. |
