Japanís speedskaters have excelled thus far in the 5th Winter Asian Games. In the first day of speedskating, Maki Tabata and Nozaki Takahiro were lightening quick, winning a combined two gold medals and two bronze medals. Speedskating events will continue tomorrow, February 3rd.
