Eiichi Tokua has been taken in for questioning by the Kyoto police, for his possible involvement in the taking of four hostages in Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank, who have since been released unharmed. The 60-year-old man reportedly owed the bank 900 million yen in loans, a possible motive for this kidnapping.
