Spanish and US naval forces have reportedly seized a North Korean ship carrying Scud missiles in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday. Given the already delicate relations between Washington and Pyongyang regarding North Korea’s missile and nuclear arms’ development, confirmation of this seizure might have grave repercussions on relations between the two countries. Still, South Korea will seek a peaceful solution after consultation with related countries including the US, says a South Korean official.
