The US has expressed its deepest regrets over the deaths of two Korean girls, Shim Mi-Son and Shin Hyon-Sun, who were killed during a military training drill last June. In addition to his personal grief over the tragedy, US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld stated that both Seoul and Washington are joining efforts to prevent future accidents during military training exercises.
