[November 10, Seoul] Korean President, George Soros, former Secretary of State Albright, and prominent NGO leaders were among the featured speakers today at the 2nd Community of Democracies NGO Forum.

Nearly 300 NGO leaders from all over the world are gathering in Seoul to discuss issues related to spreading democracy and its values worldwide. Speakers argue that democratization is the best way to combat terrorism, resolve global conflicts, and protect human rights.

This NGO forum is a parallel meeting to the Foreign Minister Conference on Democracy. Both conferences are always held together to enhance the joint effort from the government and the non-governmental organizations to remove totalitarian regimes and promote human rights worldwide.
