South Korean President Kim Dae-jung has appointed a new Minister of Justice and Public Prosecutor General. Sim Sang-myeong, former director of Korea Legal Aid Corporation, and Deputy Minister of Justice Kim Kak-young will replace the former ministers, respectively. President Kimís decisions were based on these candidates neutrality, leadership, professionalism, and prestige.
